Varun Dhawan is stepping up his commitment to agriculture by partnering with Better Nutrition, a brand focused on healthy food. He shared this exciting news with his followers on Instagram on October 7, explaining that his love for farming has opened his eyes to the crucial role of nutrition in our lives.
In his post, Varun mentioned that the founders of Better Nutrition, Prateek Rastogi and Aishwarya Bhatnagar, reached out to him after they saw his posts about his farming experiences. This connection inspired him not only to further his farming project but also to become an active participant in promoting the brand.
Varun wrote, “Farming was just the beginning. I realized that nutrition could play a big part in my journey. After talking with Prateek and Aishwarya from Better Nutrition, I felt motivated to take my farm on an exciting new path and help improve nutrition in India.”
His journey in farming started a few weeks earlier when he announced his new farm purchase, which he described as one of the greatest accomplishments in his life. He even shared updates about his first crop as he began his farming adventure.
As he delved deeper into farming, Varun began to recognize the challenges farmers face, particularly regarding soil health and crop nutrition. He discussed important nutrients like zinc and magnesium, questioning the impact of chemicals used in farming. This new partnership with Better Nutrition ties his agricultural interests to the brand’s mission of providing nutrient-rich food.
Prateek Rastogi, one of the co-founders of Better Nutrition, expressed his excitement about Varun joining the team in a LinkedIn post. He welcomed Varun as an investor and brand ambassador, stating, “We couldn’t have asked for a better partner at Better Nutrition. With Varun on board, we are even more motivated to make India a healthier nation.”
Better Nutrition was created by Prateek and Aishwarya, focusing on biofortified food products. The brand even appeared on the reality show Shark Tank India Season 4, where it showcased its healthy food initiative.
Varun’s move into nutrition and agriculture showcases his dedication not only to personal growth but also to contributing positively to society.
