Bigg Boss 20 recently experienced its first surprise mid-week eviction when Rhiti Tiwari was eliminated from the show. This decision was part of a unique captaincy task rather than the usual public voting process.
Rhiti, who is the daughter of well-known actor, singer, and politician Manoj Tiwari, joined Bigg Boss 20 along with her father when the season kicked off on September 6. Throughout her time in the house, she initially developed friendships with some housemates, but her journey was soon overshadowed by various disputes and controversies.
In the latest captaincy challenge, contestants Yung DSA, Mahhi Vij, and Uditi Singh were granted a special “vardaan,” or boon, allowing them to remove a lifeline from another contestant. Unfortunately for Rhiti, she was left with only one lifeline remaining. When her competitors decided to use their power against her, she lost that last lifeline, marking the end of her time in the Bigg Boss house.
This mid-week eviction follows the previous eliminations of Rohed Khan and Isha Rikhi. Rohed was the first contestant to leave, followed by Isha before Rhiti’s unexpected exit.
Rhiti’s journey on Bigg Boss 20 had been quite eventful and sparked considerable buzz due to her clashes with other housemates. A notable incident involved Qazi Touqeer, where tensions flared after Rhiti confronted him regarding his recent health issues. Their relationship deteriorated further during a diss battle that was part of a captaincy task, leading to her using harsh language against Qazi and Uditi. This confrontation became a hot topic during the Weekend Ka Vaar episode, where host Salman Khan called Rhiti out for her behavior, labeling her performance in the task as “the worst diss ever.” He also remarked on her celebrity status as Manoj Tiwari’s daughter and questioned her conduct in light of her father’s public image.
As the season unfolds, it will be interesting to see how the remaining contestants navigate the challenges and relationships in the Bigg Boss house.
