The team behind the film Hanuman Ansh recently visited Union Home Minister Amit Shah at his residence in New Delhi. During this meeting, Shah highlighted the teachings of Neem Karoli Baba and engaged in a discussion about India’s rich culture and traditions.
Present at the meeting were Hanuman Ansh writer-director Vishal Chaturvedi and producer Mahaveer Jain, among others. The team shared that Shah expressed his admiration for Indian cultural practices and encouraged them to continue exploring such meaningful topics through their films.
This gathering comes shortly after the Hanuman Ansh team met Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis in Mumbai during the Ganesh Chaturthi festivities. Fadnavis congratulated them on the film following its release in theaters.
Amit Shah took time to discuss the significance of Neem Karoli Baba with the film’s team, showing great respect for the spiritual figure and emphasizing the spiritual and cultural themes related to the film’s narrative.
Hanuman Ansh is a biographical story that focuses on the life of Neem Karoli Baba. The film is not only directed and produced by Vishal Chaturvedi but is also based on his book Divine Detour: That Changed My Life, portraying the journey of Baba.
Chaturvedi and Mahaveer Jain also informed Amit Shah about their upcoming film RamBola, which tells the story of Goswami Tulsidas.
Starring Shobhinaw Satyaa and Chandan Anand, alongside Anil Rastogi, Sugandha Malhotra, Bhagvandas Patel, and Neha Paranjpe, Hanuman Ansh explores the journey of Lakshmi Narayan in pre-Independence India. After the passing of his mother, he embarks on a quest for God, leading him across Northern India and ultimately transforming him into Neem Karoli Baba.
With plans for this film to be the first of a trilogy, the creators aim to delve deeper into the profound life experiences that inspired both the book and the film.
