Nani’s much-anticipated film, The Paradise, has officially been granted an ‘A’ rating by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) in preparation for its release on September 24, 2026. This film, directed by Srikanth Odela, reunites the star with the director after their previous successful project, Dasara.
As part of the film’s promotional activities, the team has released teasers and music tracks, including the songs “Aaya Sher” and “Yeshanagula,” which have generated excitement among fans ahead of the theatrical debut.
In announcing the ‘A’ rating, the filmmakers stated, “The emotions of the film can be appreciated by everyone, but JADAL’s rawness is primarily aimed at adult viewers.” This suggests that the film, featuring Nani as the lead character Jadal, tackles themes that may not be suitable for younger audiences.
The producers also took to social media to share the news of the certification, emphasizing the film’s adult-oriented content alongside the excitement of its global release.
The Paradise is set to hit theaters across the world in eight languages: Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, English, Spanish, Bengali, Kannada, and Malayalam. Nani has previously expressed his enthusiasm for working with Srikanth Odela and is looking forward to the film’s release.
Regarding the cuts mandated by the CBFC, several adjustments were made, including the alteration of visuals involving a crow on the National Flag and modifications to scenes featuring a pregnant woman. Certain strong language was allowed in some parts but was muted in others, and scenes showing violence were toned down significantly. The film saw reductions in both violent imagery and references to real-life events, ensuring compliance with the board’s guidelines.
After making these changes, The Paradise received its certification on September 21. The film’s total runtime is listed at 173.04 minutes, which translates to approximately 2 hours and 53 minutes.
