Lust Stories 3 Set to Premiere on September 18 on Netflix
The much-anticipated Lust Stories 3, the latest installment in Netflix’s popular anthology series, is set to launch on September 18. This new chapter features an impressive lineup of filmmakers, including Vikramaditya Motwane, Kiran Rao, Shakun Batra, and Vishal Bhardwaj, who will each share unique stories about relationships, desire, and the bonds between people.
This anthology is produced by RSVP and Flying Unicorn Entertainment, showcasing a talented cast featuring Radhika Apte, Konkona Sen Sharma, Aditi Rao Hydari, Radhika Madan, Sana Thampi, Vijay Varma, Abhishek Banerjee, Siddharth, Ali Fazal, and Gurfateh Pirzada.
Ruchikaa Kapoor Sheikh, who is the Director of Original Films at Netflix India, highlighted how the series has a special way of exploring similar themes through different lenses. She believes that the strength of Lust Stories lies in its ability to continuously reinvent itself. Each story begins with a common human desire but leads to varied emotional experiences, touching on themes of vulnerability, power, and the things people often find hard to express.
Producer Ronnie Screwvala noted that the anthology has always aimed to reflect the changing dynamics around relationships and intimacy. With each new season, Lust Stories has teamed up with remarkable filmmakers to tell relatable and deeply human tales, capturing the evolution of modern relationships.
Producer Ashi Dua added that the latest edition maintains a focus on relationships, showcasing different creative styles while creating a shared emotional journey. Each story in the anthology has its own unique tone, yet they are connected by their honesty and vulnerability.
The writing team for the four new stories includes Kiran Rao, Tanaji Dasgupta, Avinash Sampath, Sumukhi Suresh, Shakun Batra, Sameeha Sabnis, Ashwathi Namboodiri, Nitesh Bhatia, Utkarshini Vashishtha, and Vishal Bhardwaj. Directed by Motwane, Rao, Batra, and Bhardwaj, Lust Stories 3 is sure to deliver captivating narratives when it streams on Netflix starting September 18.
