The anticipated clash during Eid 2027 between Prabhas’s film Spirit, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, and an action film featuring Salman Khan, directed by Vamshi Paidipally, may not happen after all. Sources indicate that Spirit is likely to miss its Eid release date due to delays in filming.
Currently, approximately 75 days of shooting are still required. With Prabhas’s schedule already packed with multiple projects, completing the film on time presents significant challenges for the director. Discussions are reportedly underway at T-Series about finding a new release date, with June 2027 being considered as a possibility after the IPL season.
While the team behind Spirit is still hoping to meet the Eid deadline, many recognize that it may not be feasible, which could lead to a solo release for Salman Khan’s film. Even though those involved might downplay the situation for now, it’s clear that the film is behind schedule, and discussions on a delay have already begun.
Spirit is one of the most anticipated films in the Indian film industry, and it is expected to perform exceptionally well at the box office upon its release.
A representative from T-Series affirmed that the film is on track, stating, “We are very much on schedule for the release of Spirit. The film is set to come out on March 5, 2027, and there have been no changes to the planned release date. We are working diligently to ensure that the film reaches audiences worldwide on that date.”
