JumpStart Inc. Welcomes New Leaders to Enhance Support for Ohio Entrepreneurs

Cleveland, OH – JumpStart Inc., a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping startups, has welcomed two new executives to its leadership team. Terri Bradford Eason has been appointed as the organization’s first chief revenue officer, while Daniel Brown takes on the role of chief services officer.

Terri Eason officially joined JumpStart on August 3. With over 30 years of experience in philanthropy, banking, and relationship management, she previously worked at the Cleveland Foundation, where she was instrumental in philanthropic initiatives and building relationships with professional advisors. Eason has a strong background in nonprofit business and banking, having spent nearly two decades at National City Corporation and contributing to a digital banking platform at For Members Only Federal Credit Union. Her extensive board service in education, healthcare, and community development further highlights her commitment to making a difference. In her new role, Eason will focus on securing support that allows JumpStart to provide low- and no-cost programs for entrepreneurs in Ohio.

Daniel Brown, who joined JumpStart in 2023, was already a familiar face within the organization. As an entrepreneur-in-residence, he worked to strengthen connections within the Stark County economic development community and helped to launch collaborative programs. Before his time at JumpStart, Brown co-founded Rust Belt Riders and Tilth Soil, both worker-owned businesses focused on repurposing food waste. His firsthand experience as a small business owner will be instrumental in guiding other entrepreneurs.

As chief services officer, Brown will manage a wide range of JumpStart’s offerings, including the Trailblazer Accelerator and ScaleReady programs. His goal is to ensure that small business owners receive the support they need to propel their companies forward.

JumpStart CEO Lorne Novick expressed confidence in the new hires, stating, “Terri knows this community, and this community knows her. She has an amazing ability to connect with those who see potential here. Dan’s background as a founder brings a unique perspective that enhances our ability to serve entrepreneurs.”

Both Eason and Brown will play crucial roles in continuing JumpStart’s mission to support and uplift entrepreneurs throughout Ohio.
