Actor Rashmika Mandanna recently opened up about her recovery from a painful hip injury that led to an unexpected break from her busy schedule. After some time away from social media, she returned with an emotional post on Instagram, explaining the reason for her absence and reassuring fans about her healing journey.

In her heartfelt message, Rashmika shared photos from her recovery at home, showcasing moments with her pets, puzzles she’s been solving, and delicious treats she received from friends and well-wishers.

Understanding the Injury

Rashmika revealed that she originally wanted to keep her injury private but ultimately chose to share it with her followers. This marks her third injury in a row, prompting her to reflect on how she treats her body: “I should definitely learn to treat my body like a human body and not some machine,” she noted.

The injury occurred while she was performing a dance sequence for her upcoming film Mysaa, where a tendon connecting her right hip to her leg detached. She explained, “There are four tendons on each side of your hip, and one of those on my right hip apparently detached. It needs to reattach for me to lift my leg properly.”

Staying Positive

Despite the discomfort, Rashmika remains optimistic and reminded her fans that the situation is manageable: “Don’t worry. It hurts but it’s not unbearable.” She also humorously mentioned that this break felt like a gentle nudge from above to slow down, as she typically doesn’t take breaks willingly.

During her recovery, she has been indulging in puzzles and treats, though she admitted missing her regular workout routine. Staying away from exercise has been tough for her since she usually maintains her fitness through intense workouts and running. Her positive spirit resonated with fans, who filled her comments section with well wishes for a speedy recovery.

Once she’s back to her full health, Rashmika is set to dive into a series of exciting projects, including Mysaa, Ranabaali, Pushpa 3, Animal Park, and Rakka. For now, she is focusing on her healing process and promises to keep her fans updated as she makes progress.
