Montana’s Tech Industry Sees Rapid Growth
Montana’s technology sector is expanding at a remarkable pace, outstripping the overall growth of the state’s economy.
A recent report from the Montana High Tech Business Alliance, along with the University of Montana’s Bureau of Business and Economic Research, reveals that the tech industry raked in an impressive $7.9 billion in revenue last year. This means that technology now accounts for 5% of Montana’s entire economy.
According to the findings, the average annual salary for a tech worker in Montana reached around $146,000. Additionally, many of the companies involved in the survey reported that they are incorporating artificial intelligence into their operations, highlighting a trend toward modernization and innovation in the industry.
This growth points to a promising future for Montana’s tech scene.
