Suneil Anand, Son of Dev Anand, Passes Away at 70
Suneil Anand, the son of the cherished Bollywood icon Dev Anand, sadly passed away in London on July 26 due to a heart attack. He was 70 years old.
His family shared the news through a statement from his niece, Gina Narang, who asked for privacy as they process their grief.
Gina said, “With heavy hearts, our family mourns the passing of Suneil Anand. We are touched by the outpouring of love, prayers, and support during this hard time. We kindly ask for privacy as we navigate this together.”
Suneil was the only son of the legendary actor and filmmaker Dev Anand and his wife, Kalpana Kartik. Born into one of the most celebrated families in Hindi cinema, Suneil made his acting debut in the film “Anand Aur Anand,” directed by his father in 1984.
His passing marks a significant moment in the Anand family’s rich legacy in film. Details regarding his last rites are yet to be announced.
