Calocurb Shows Promise in New GLP-1 Study for Weight and Fat Loss

Calocurb Discovers New Path in Weight Loss with Natural Solution

Calocurb, a New Zealand-based company, has made significant strides in weight management by introducing the first all-natural GLP-1 activator. Recently, they published a clinical study in the U.S. medical journal Obesity Pillars, highlighting the positive effects of Calocurb on weight loss and muscle preservation.

In this study, participants who used Calocurb regularly lost an average of 8.3 pounds (or about 3.77 kg) over six months, while also following healthy eating and exercise guidelines. Perhaps most impressively, users did not experience any muscle loss during this time.

Calocurb is made from Amarasate®, a unique bitter hops extract that was developed through a comprehensive research initiative funded by the New Zealand government. Unlike prescription GLP-1 medications, Calocurb works by boosting three natural hormones in the body—GLP-1, CCK, and PYY—by stimulating special receptors in the gut. This helps to lower appetite, reduce cravings, and cut down on calorie intake.

The clinical trial, which lasted 24 weeks and included a follow-up period, was conducted by a New Zealand government research institute. Those who took Calocurb showed more significant weight loss and a reduction in body and visceral fat compared to the placebo group, all while maintaining muscle mass. This is crucial, as many synthetic GLP-1 drugs can lead to a loss of muscle, potentially affecting long-term mobility and bone health.

Some notable outcomes from the study include:

  • Improved Body Composition: Calocurb led to an average weight loss of 8.3 lbs (3.77 kg) in six months, compared to just 0.88 lbs (0.4 kg) for the placebo group.
  • Superior Fat Loss: Participants using Calocurb experienced over 6.5 times more body fat loss, averaging 9.9 lbs (4.49 kg) compared to 1.5 lbs (0.68 kg) with the placebo.
  • Reduced Visceral Fat: There was a 3.5 times greater reduction in visceral fat, with Calocurb users seeing an average loss of 5 in² (32.5 cm²) versus only 1.4 in² (9.1 cm²) in the placebo group after six months.

For over a decade, Calocurb has led pioneering research on Amarasate® to provide natural solutions for weight management.

Sarah Kennedy, the Founder and CEO of Calocurb, expressed her excitement about the study, stating, “This new data demonstrates Calocurb’s role in not just weight loss, but also in preserving muscle, which is revolutionary in the crowded market of weight loss options. We are thrilled to share these independent results that confirm its effectiveness in enhancing body composition—all while being completely natural.”

As the first natural GLP-1 option clinically shown to support weight loss, Calocurb offers fresh opportunities for those on their weight management journeys. With a foundation in wellness and scientific research, this breakthrough equips healthcare providers and consumers alike with valuable insights for a healthier future.
