India’s Peacekeepers Honored with UN Medals in Congo
In a proud moment for India, 651 personnel from the Indian Army received the United Nations Medal for their exceptional work in peacekeeping. The awards were presented during a ceremony at the Permanent Operating Base Sake in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC).
The Medal Parade took place on Friday, July 3, and was attended by senior officials from the UN Organization Stabilization Mission in the DRC, military leaders, and other guests.
