NASA Partners with Industry to Accelerate Lunar Technology Development

NASA Invites Feedback on Lunar Infrastructure Development

To enable long-term exploration of the Moon, NASA emphasizes the need for technology and infrastructure to work seamlessly on the lunar surface. The space agency is partnering with industry to speed up the creation of essential systems that will minimize risks.

NASA is currently seeking input on a draft proposal for the Lunar Enabling Infrastructure Accelerator. This initiative aims to foster advancements in important areas such as surface power, in-situ resource utilization, advanced manufacturing, and innovative nanomaterials. U.S. organizations, including businesses, educational institutions, and non-profit groups, are encouraged to review the draft and provide their thoughts.

This collaborative effort highlights the importance of partnerships in achieving U.S. space objectives and developing the necessary capabilities for sustainable lunar exploration.
