The upcoming release of Alpha featuring Alia Bhatt and Sharvari has captured a lot of interest. The excitement not only stems from its intriguing trailer and casting but also from its connection to the YRF Spy Universe.
Recently, Yash Raj Films (YRF) has shared specific arrangements with movie theaters regarding the showtimes for Alpha. According to their guidance, all screenings for the film will start at 9:30 AM and ticket sales will begin on Wednesday, July 1. Additionally, the ticket prices will align with those of the previous weekend’s release, Welcome To The Jungle.
For show sharing, YRF has set clear expectations: there should be at least four shows per day in two-screen cinemas and a minimum of six shows in three-screen theaters. For multiplexes with four screens, they are asking for at least eight shows, and in venues with ten or more screens, a minimum of ten shows is required.
For single-screen theaters, the show-sharing arrangements will be handled on an individual basis by the YRF Distribution Office.
In terms of film certification, Alpha received a U/A+ rating from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) on June 29. The film has a total runtime of 2 hours, 20 minutes, and 48 seconds, with the first half running for 1 hour, 13 minutes, and 32 seconds, while the second half is 1 hour, 7 minutes, and 16 seconds long.
This action-packed film is eagerly awaited, and industry veteran Anil Kapoor has praised it for centering around strong female characters, emphasizing that audiences connect with the energy of the main character, transcending traditional categories.
