RCB CEO Backs Virat Kohli’s Future with the Team Until 2030

The CEO of Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), Rajesh Menon, recently shared his confidence in Virat Kohli’s relentless desire for success. Menon believes that Kohli will continue to play for RCB for at least the next three to four years, emphasizing the legendary cricketer’s dedication to the team since the Indian Premier League (IPL) was established in 2008.

Kohli’s lengthy relationship with RCB is noteworthy, making him a central figure within the franchise. Throughout his IPL career, he has consistently played for RCB each season, earning a reputation as the team’s face.

Over the years, Kohli has shattered numerous records, becoming the highest scorer in IPL history with 9,336 runs in 283 matches. Notably, he recently played a vital role in helping RCB defend their IPL title, further solidifying his status as one of the franchise’s all-time greats.

Menon stated, “RCB and Virat are two sides of the same coin. He has always been a constant for RCB. Even if he were to step away from playing, he would still be a part of us. I believe he will continue for another three to four years without any doubt.”

He praised Kohli for his fitness and enthusiasm, saying, “This season, he brought unmatched energy and performance. I have no concerns about him playing for the next few years.”

Virat Kohli’s Ever-Growing Ambition

Kohli has had many remarkable seasons with RCB. In 2016, he had one of the best batting performances in IPL history, scoring 973 runs. More recently, he clinched the Orange Cap in 2024 with 741 runs and followed up with another impressive season in 2025, where he scored 657 runs as RCB finally claimed their long-awaited IPL title.

In the 2026 season, Kohli showcased his talent once more, being RCB’s leading run-scorer with 675 runs. He shone brightest during the final match against the Gujarat Titans, scoring an unbeaten 75 runs off 42 balls and achieving the fastest fifty of his IPL career. His performance helped RCB secure their second consecutive IPL title, sealing victory with a dramatic six.

Kohli’s unyielding ambition and exceptional skills continue to inspire both fans and teammates alike.
