The historic Remington Arms Shot Tower in Bridgeport is on its way to becoming a new business center, thanks to millions in state funding aimed at redevelopment and preservation. Mayor Joe Ganim shared this exciting news in an exclusive interview on Sunday.
Ganim revealed that a private developer will be working to turn the site into a vibrant commercial property, which is expected to create jobs and boost the local economy. Official plans for the development are anticipated to be released in just a few weeks.
“This is a significant step forward for our city. Having a committed developer to help realize this long-term vision fills me with pride,” said Ganim, reflecting on the positive impact this project will have on the community.
