Tragic Loss of Three Sisters in Brighton

Three sisters, Jane Adetoro (36), Christina Walters (32), and Rebecca Walters (31), have been identified after their bodies were discovered in the sea off Brighton beach. The sisters, who lived in Uxbridge, London, were found near Black Rock car park early Wednesday morning, according to Sussex Police.

The news of their deaths has deeply saddened communities in both Brighton and London. Their father, Joseph Walters, shared an emotional tribute, referring to his daughters as “unique and precious.” He expressed his heartache, saying, “No words can truly describe the pain of losing three daughters in the prime of their lives. They were my joy, my strength, and the light of our family.”

While authorities have stated there is no evidence of foul play, they are actively investigating how the sisters ended up in the water. Detectives are reviewing extensive CCTV footage to trace their movements from Tuesday night to Wednesday morning.

Police are asking anyone who saw the sisters between 10 p.m. Tuesday and 5:30 a.m. Wednesday to come forward. Chief Superintendent Adam Hays assured the public that investigators are committed to finding out what happened, saying, “We’ll leave no stone unturned.”

In light of this tragic event, Hays urged respect for the family’s privacy during this difficult time. Joseph Walters concluded his heartfelt message by saying, “Though you are no longer here, your spirits live on in our hearts. Love like yours never dies.”
