Truecaller Launches Travel eSIM Service Powered by Telness Tech

On May 21, Telness Tech, the company behind Seamless OS, announced an exciting new partnership with Truecaller. Truecaller, known for its popular platform that verifies contacts and blocks unwanted calls, has launched a Travel eSIM service that is now available in 29 countries. This new service marks an important step for Truecaller as it expands its offerings beyond caller ID and spam protection to include mobile data services.

With over 500 million users worldwide, Truecaller aims to improve international travel by providing a convenient and cost-effective way for travelers to stay connected. Many users often face high costs or find themselves without service when they arrive at a destination, and the Travel eSIM seeks to address these issues.

The Travel eSIM is a digital mobile data service that activates quickly, works on iPhones, and offers flexible plans ranging from 1 GB for 7 days to 20 GB for 30 days. Users can continue to communicate through popular apps like WhatsApp, FaceTime, and Signal, using the same data connection for voice and messaging.

Martina Klingvall, the CEO and Founder of Telness Tech, expressed pride in supporting Truecaller’s venture into travel eSIMs, highlighting the effectiveness of their Seamless OS platform in managing digital mobile services.

Fredrik Kjell, COO at Truecaller, shared his excitement about the launch, stating that as a trusted communications brand, Truecaller can provide a valuable product at competitive prices. Currently, the service is available on iPhone, with plans to expand to Android and additional markets soon.

This launch is part of a larger trend in the telecom industry, where mobile connectivity is increasingly integrated into digital platforms that have strong customer relationships.

The Travel eSIM is initially available in various countries, including Italy, Sweden, Spain, France, Germany, and the U.S., among others.

Stay tuned for more updates on this innovative service!
