Ahmedabad: Gujarat National Law University (GNLU) recently entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Indian Navy at the Southern Naval Command in Kochi. This agreement aims to enhance cooperation in areas like International Maritime Law, the Law of the Sea, and other related legal fields.

According to a statement from GNLU, the MoU will pave the way for various training initiatives, including both short and long-term courses, online programs in maritime law, and residential research opportunities specifically for Indian Navy officers. Over the past five years, GNLU has already conducted numerous training programs focusing on maritime law for officers in the Indian Navy.
