From India to the World: Naman Gosalia and AnginaX Leading the Way in Heart Health

Geneva, Switzerland, May 16 – In a significant achievement for India, Naman Gosalia is pushing for a new approach to heart health on the global stage. His ongoing efforts to make cardiovascular prevention a priority are bringing his organization, AnginaX, into crucial health discussions worldwide. This includes conversations with global healthcare leaders, policymakers, and experts in cardiology.

For years, healthcare systems have mostly focused on treating heart attacks after they happen. However, Gosalia believes that the future of healthcare should shift towards preventing these issues before they even start. His message is becoming more prominent, especially as nearly 18 million people lose their lives to cardiovascular diseases each year, as stated by the World Health Organization.

As the founder of AnginaX, Gosalia advocates for a prevention-first model. This approach combines advanced medical science with effective preventive strategies, aiming to promote lifelong cardiovascular health. His goal is straightforward yet powerful: to make sure that individuals do not enter the healthcare system only when the situation becomes critical.

In a recent discussion on GunjanShouts, Gosalia clearly stated the mission: “Our fight is against the disease. We don’t want to save lives only in the ICU; we want to protect lives much earlier, while people are still at home.” This philosophy is gaining traction among hospitals, clinicians, and public health organizations as they explore how to integrate prevention into routine healthcare practices.

Through AnginaX, Gosalia has united a diverse group of cardiologists, researchers, engineers, and health experts to change the focus of healthcare from reactive treatments to proactive heart health. Rather than seeing prevention as an occasional task, the aim is to foster early action and awareness before conditions like angina or heart attacks arise.

As healthcare systems worldwide struggle with increasing chronic illnesses and rising emergency costs, the need for preventive care is becoming urgent. This movement represents a proud moment for many in India, as an Indian-born vision begins to reshape global attitudes towards cardiovascular health.

Gosalia’s core message remains concise: “The future of healthcare will not be defined by how well we treat heart attacks, but by how effectively we prevent them.”
