Dhurandhar The Revenge Breaks Records at the Box Office
The film Dhurandhar The Revenge has become a phenomenon, surpassing expectations and making headlines for its remarkable box office performance. On March 21, this much-anticipated movie achieved an incredible milestone by earning ₹100 crore in just one day. The excitement surrounding its release is not only felt locally but has also extended to overseas markets, where it has outperformed a highly awaited Hollywood sequel.
In comparison, Ready or Not 2: Here I Come, another big release, opened with $9 million. Meanwhile, Dhurandhar The Revenge grossed approximately $10.5 million in its opening weekend. Given the success of its predecessor released in December 2025, this sequel was expected to make a strong showing. However, the underwhelming start of Ready or Not 2, featuring stars like Sarah Michelle Gellar and Elijah Wood, adds to the surprise of Dhurandhar‘s triumph.
Special Screenings Delight Mumbai Locals
In an exciting development for movie lovers in Vile Parle East and Andheri East, the famous Bahar Cinema is screening Dhurandhar The Revenge on March 22 with four special showings — an unusual move since the cinema typically operates only after 5:00 pm. The film will show at 8:00 am, 12:30 pm, 5:00 pm, and 9:30 pm, marking a unique occasion for local audiences.
An insider mentioned, “Due to certain regulations, Bahar Cinema usually starts screenings later. However, they’ve made an exception for this film.”
Furthermore, this enthusiasm for Dhurandhar has prompted several cinemas to schedule post-midnight and early morning screenings. For instance, Kasturba Cinema in Malad hosted a 2:30 am show, while Woodland Cinemas in Virar organized a 7:45 am screening, both of which quickly sold out.
Produced by Jyoti Deshpande of Jio Studios along with Aditya Dhar and Lokesh Dhar of B62 Studios, Dhurandhar The Revenge is written and directed by Aditya Dhar.
With such remarkable success, Dhurandhar The Revenge is sure to be the talk of the town for quite some time!
