GOQORO Inc. Acquires +Style IoT Platform
GOQORO Inc., led by CEO Hejong Ko, has made a significant move in the tech world by agreeing to purchase the IoT platform brand “+Style” and its related assets from BBSS Corporation, a subsidiary of SoftBank Group, located in Tokyo. This deal was officially signed on March 6, 2026.
The purpose of this acquisition is to blend GOQORO’s cutting-edge technologies in AI, IoT, and robotics with +Style’s broad service network. GOQORO aims to go beyond basic device management by integrating advanced AI and robotics into the smart home experience. The company envisions a future where everyone can enjoy smart living through a wide range of products, including lighting, sensors, and robotics, under the concept of “Future Living” or “Mirai-Seikatsu.”
+Style, known for its unique approach of involving users from the product planning phase, has already established itself as a leader in the smart lifestyle sector by introducing innovative IoT devices. GOQORO is dedicated to maintaining and enhancing the distinct brand values of +Style throughout this transition.
Starting from May 1, 2026, existing users will have uninterrupted access to customer support and services.
