Sajid Khan is back in the director’s seat after a break from filmmaking, marking his return with a horror movie titled Hundred. He previously achieved success with several comedy films, but this marks a shift in genre for him.
According to inside sources, the filming for Hundred started recently at Film City in Mumbai. The choice of starting date was significant as it coincided with the festival of Basant Panchami.
In an exciting twist, Hundred features Yashvardhan Ahuja, the son of popular actor Govinda, in his debut role, while Nitanshi Goel, known for her work in Laapataa Ladies, will star as the female lead.
The film is produced by Amar Butala and the well-known team of Ekta Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor from Balaji Telefilms. Amar Butala has a strong production background, having worked on notable films like Mission Majnu and Kesari.
Interestingly, Sajid Khan’s connection to horror films isn’t new; he started his career by directing a segment in the horror anthology Darna Zaroori Hai back in 2006.
In other news, Sajid recently made headlines due to a foot injury he sustained on a film set in December 2025. After a successful surgery, he is reportedly recovering well, as confirmed by his sister Farah Khan.
This return to directing is a significant moment for Sajid, as he shifts gears from comedy to thriller, promising an intriguing ride for moviegoers.
