HONG KONG, October 17, 2025 — The Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA), in partnership with the Hong Kong Cyberport Management Company Limited (Cyberport), has announced the launch of the second group of the Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenA.I.) Sandbox. Joining this initiative as a tech partner is Ant Digital Technologies.

This new cohort focuses on responsible AI governance, showcasing innovative strategies like using AI to perform automated quality checks on content generated by AI. This approach aims to boost accuracy and reliability across various applications. As deepfake fraud becomes a growing concern, the Sandbox will also test advanced defense systems to combat this threat.

Ant Digital Technologies will aid several financial institutions in implementing AI solutions to enhance their operations. Using their Agentar AI Agent Platform and mPaaS LUI module, they plan to collaborate with Fubon Bank (Hong Kong) to develop an AI-driven assistant for a more personalized and secure mobile banking experience.

Additionally, the company will work with partners to employ its ZOLOZ AI tools aimed at detecting and preventing identity fraud. These tools will utilize advanced GPU technology to enhance model training and deployment, helping financial institutions tackle challenges related to digital identities more effectively.

Ant Digital Technologies has made strides in helping traditional businesses transition to the digital world, providing AI-based tools for digital security across the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. They also play an active role in the HKMA’s Project Ensemble. In 2025, the company set up its international headquarters in Hong Kong.

With a global network of over 300 partners and serving more than 10,000 business clients, Ant Digital Technologies is a leader in blockchain, privacy computing, and AI technology.
