Ahaan Panday, who made a stunning debut with the romantic film Saiyaara, is getting ready to lead his second movie. This time, he will dive into an action-filled romantic drama, directed by the talented Ali Abbas Zafar and produced by Aditya Chopra.

Saiyaara, released on July 18, 2025, quickly became a massive hit, shattering records and establishing Ahaan alongside his co-star Aneet Padda as promising newcomers in the industry. With such a successful start, fans have been eagerly anticipating Ahaan’s next project.

Recently, it was revealed that Ahaan has officially signed on for his second film with Yash Raj Films (YRF). This upcoming project will be helmed by Ali Abbas Zafar, known for directing blockbuster films like Sultan and Tiger Zinda Hai.

A source shared that Zafar has been developing a new action-romance film in partnership with Aditya Chopra. He aims to blend action and drama, a combination that audiences love. After watching Saiyaara, Zafar was impressed by Ahaan’s ability to connect emotionally on screen. The decision to cast Ahaan came from Aditya Chopra, who believes that Ahaan’s fresh perspective will keep audiences intrigued. Following his debut, there’s a natural curiosity about what he will do next, making this pairing all the more exciting.

The untitled film promises to showcase Ahaan in a new light, featuring a dynamic mix of thrilling action, deep romance, and emotional drama—elements that Chopra and Zafar are known for. The script is finalized, and music sessions have already kicked off. Filming is expected to start in the first quarter of 2026, with preparations for action scenes and character look tests set to begin soon.

This project marks the fifth collaboration between Aditya Chopra and Ali Abbas Zafar, following successful films like Mere Brother Ki Dulhan, Gunday, Sultan, and Tiger Zinda Hai. Their partnership has consistently delivered hits, and expectations are high for this new endeavor. With a renowned director, a successful producer, and a rising star, this action-romance is one of the most anticipated films among younger audiences.
