A soldier lost his life from a gunshot wound while waiting outside the military hospital in Udhampur, Jammu and Kashmir, on Tuesday. Officials have launched an investigation to determine whether the incident was due to accidental firing or suicide.
The soldier was in a parked medicine supply vehicle when the tragic shot was fired. Hearing the gunfire, his fellow soldiers rushed to the scene, only to find him lying in a pool of blood. He was quickly taken to the hospital, but unfortunately, he was declared dead upon arrival.
Authorities are currently working to gather more details about this incident.
