On Monday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate several important railway projects in Telangana through a video conference. One of the major highlights of this event is the introduction of the Jammu railway division, which aims to enhance transportation links for the local populace with various regions across India.

In addition to the Jammu division, the Prime Minister will also lay the foundation stone for the Rayagada railway division building, part of the east coast railway network. Furthermore, he will officially launch the Charlapalli New Terminal station, which is expected to further improve rail services in the area.

### Jammu Railway Division
The new Jammu railway division is anticipated to create more job opportunities and aid in the development of infrastructure, tourism, and the overall economy of the region. The division will cover several key routes, including Pathankot-Jammu-Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla measuring 423 kilometers, along with Bhogpur-Sirwal-Pathankot (87.21 km), Batala-Pathankot (68.17 km), and Pathankot-Joginder Nagar (163.72 km), totaling an impressive length of 742.1 kilometers.

### Charlapalli New Terminal Station
The Charlapalli New Terminal station, located in the Medchal-Malkajgiri district, has been built at a cost of around ₹413 crore. This new station is set to function as a modern coaching terminal, equipped with separate entry points for passengers. It is designed with environmental considerations in mind, ensuring necessary facilities for travelers while also reducing congestion at existing stations like Secunderabad, Hyderabad, and Kacheguda.

Recently, PM Modi also inaugurated a 13-km stretch of the Delhi-Meerut Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) corridor, which connects Sahibabad in Uttar Pradesh to New Ashok Nagar in Delhi. This project is part of a broader effort to enhance connectivity in various sectors.

Overall, the developments in Telangana are expected to significantly benefit the region’s infrastructure and boost economic growth, making travel more accessible and efficient for residents.
