The eagerly awaited film Bhooth Bangla, starring Akshay Kumar and directed by Priyadarshan, has officially moved its production to Jaipur for the next filming schedule. The project kicked off in Mumbai last month and is now set to continue in the colorful Pink City, where a new chapter of the story will unfold.

This film marks another exciting collaboration between Akshay Kumar and Priyadarshan, who have previously teamed up on successful projects like Hera Pheri, Bhool Bhulaiyaa, and Garam Masala. Bhooth Bangla is expected to combine elements of comedy and suspense while exploring the haunted house theme with a humorous twist. Fans are looking forward to seeing Akshay’s signature comic timing, which is sure to bring a special flavor to his character, all under Priyadarshan’s creative direction. The Jaipur leg of filming will prominently feature outdoor scenes in some of the city’s well-known spots.

Produced by Shobha Kapoor and Ektaa R Kapoor’s Balaji Telefilms in collaboration with Akshay Kumar’s Cape of Good Films, the film has a screenplay crafted by Rohan Shankar, Abilash Nair, and Priyadarshan, with dialogues penned by Rohan Shankar. Bhooth Bangla is set to hit theaters on April 2, 2026, and promises an entertaining experience for audiences.
