KT&G Highlights Global Brands at InterTabac 2026

SEOUL, South Korea, September 23, 2026 – KT&G has successfully wrapped up its participation in InterTabac 2026, the largest tobacco industry trade fair in the world, which took place in Dortmund, Germany, from September 15 to 17. The event allowed KT&G to showcase its range of global brands and strengthen its footprint in the international tobacco market.

InterTabac is recognized as a key event in the tobacco sector, bringing together nearly 800 companies from over 70 countries. The fair featured a diverse array of products, including traditional cigarettes, cigars, and the latest innovations in the industry, sprawled across 12 exhibition halls. It provided an excellent opportunity for industry professionals to share insights, broaden their networks, and discover new business possibilities.

This year, KT&G significantly increased its presence, with an exhibition space that was about four times larger than the previous year. The booth was organized into four themed areas, showcasing a wide selection of products such as the popular ‘ESSE’ and ‘BOHEM’ cigarette brands, along with next-generation products like vapor products and nicotine pouches.

During the event, KT&G conducted numerous meetings with international partners and buyers to explore collaboration opportunities in key markets. The company engaged visitors through various brand-related activities, allowing them to experience the breadth of KT&G’s offerings.

KT&G’s flagship brand, ‘ESSE’, achieved impressive overseas sales exceeding KRW 1 trillion last year, reaching over 90 countries and holding a significant share of the global superslim cigarette market. Meanwhile, BOHEM, known for using cigar leaves, mainly caters to the Asia-Pacific and Latin American regions.

A KT&G representative commented, “InterTabac is a vital platform for us to build our global network and identify new opportunities within the industry. We are committed to enhancing KT&G’s presence worldwide following our participation in this year’s event.”

KT&G, known for its renowned brand ‘ESSE’, is a leading South Korean company involved in various sectors, including next-generation products (NGP), health functional foods, and combustible cigarettes. By the end of 2025, KT&G’s products were sold in 140 countries globally.
