On Saturday, September 12, Diljit Dosanjh, the renowned Indian artist, made an impressive mark in music history by becoming the first Punjabi singer to perform at Wembley Stadium. His concert, organized by Live Nation, sold out in less than 48 hours, showcasing his immense popularity. During this unforgettable performance, Diljit announced an upcoming concert at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, India, scheduled for November 21, 2026.

The European leg of his AURA WORLD TOUR is set to conclude this week, with shows lined up in Birmingham and Manchester on September 18 and September 20, respectively. This tour follows a record-breaking North American stint, where Diljit performed in stadiums and arenas across the continent, including two memorable nights at Madison Square Garden in New York City. This achievement made him the first Punjabi artist to headline at this iconic venue, and he broke records for ticket sales, moving over 225,000 tickets and generating more than $32 million.

Earlier this year, Diljit appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, where he discussed his tour and performed his popular single, “Morni.” His performance brilliantly showcased Punjabi culture, accompanied by two Bhangra dancers, and quickly went viral, inspiring many fans to create their own dance videos.

In his career, Diljit has achieved significant milestones. This year, he became the first Punjabi artist to headline at Coachella and made history as the first Indian performer on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in 2024. His DIL-LUMINATI tour was a massive success, becoming the highest-grossing tour by an Indian artist in North America. Following this tour, Diljit received his first International Emmy Award nomination for Best Performance By An Actor and was recognized for his stylish appearance at the Met Gala by fashion magazines like GQ and Vogue.
