In the early 1990s, he lived in Calcutta, which is now known as Kolkata, for two years. During this time, he met various musicians at the Calcutta School of Music, an established institution with a long history of Western classical music. This experience deepened his passion for jazz and classical music. As a result, his musical style expanded, incorporating elements from rock, blues, jazz, and fusion.
