Psychological Evaluation in Air India Crash Investigation
NEW DELHI, July 15 — The investigation team looking into last year’s tragic Air India accident has completed a psychological evaluation as part of its ongoing inquiry. According to a recent court filing, the final report from the psychologist has been received.
However, the report did not reveal whose psychological evaluation was conducted, nor did it provide specific details regarding the crash of the Boeing 787, which resulted in the loss of 260 lives shortly after takeoff from Ahmedabad, India.
India’s Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau also stated that a transcript of the cockpit voice recorder has been prepared. They are still awaiting analysis from data collected in late May from an engine monitoring unit. Additionally, the assessment of organizational factors is ongoing, although more details were not shared at this time.
