The two-day meeting, which took place on July 7 and 8, was led by India’s Union Home Secretary Govind Mohan and Myanmar’s Deputy Home Minister Major General Min Thu.

During the discussions, both nations highlighted the importance of preventing their territories from being used for activities that could threaten their security. The Myanmar representatives assured India that their land would not be used in ways that could compromise India’s safety.
