Producer Dinesh Vijan and actor Rajkummar Rao are teaming up once again for a new film titled Prahaar – The Ujjwal Nikam Story. This drama, inspired by significant events in India, is set to hit theaters on August 7, 2026.
The film will be directed by Avinash Arun, with Rajkummar Rao leading the cast. Joining him are Wamiqa Gabbi, Sikandar Kher, and Jaideep Ahlawat in important roles. It will be produced under Maddock Films.
Although the storyline remains undisclosed, the title suggests that the film will focus on the life and contributions of Ujjwal Nikam, a well-known public prosecutor in India. The movie has been described as a powerful drama, rooted in real-life incidents that have shaped public discussions and garnered national attention.
