NIA Officer Tragically Killed in Road Accident
BAREILLY: A tragic accident occurred on the Delhi-Lucknow national highway in Uttar Pradesh’s Moradabad district, claiming the life of Ishan Mehra, a 32-year-old deputy superintendent of police with the National Investigation Agency (NIA).
Mehra, who resided in Mohali, Punjab, was assigned to the NIA office in Delhi. He was riding with a friend to Bajpur in Uttarakhand when the incident happened around 11:30 PM on Friday, as reported by local police.
Authorities stated that Mehra was riding a high-performance superbike when he collided with the back of a container truck. The impact was so significant that the motorcycle was left severely damaged.
