Mouni Roy and Suraj Nambiar have recently caught the public’s eye once again after announcing their separation. Just a week after officially sharing the news on Instagram, Suraj took to the platform to address swirling rumors regarding their split. He firmly rejected claims about alimony, disputes, and any third-party involvement.
In a detailed Instagram post, Suraj labeled several reports as “baseless” and “malicious.” Mouni subsequently shared his message on her own account, showing a united front as they navigate this challenging time. Suraj wrote, “The recent reports about our separation are misguided and malicious. To clarify, there is no alimony, no disputes, and no third party involved.”
He emphasized that their decision to part ways was mutual and made with respect for each other. “Mouni and I chose to separate thoughtfully, keeping each other’s well-being in mind. That’s the truth. The rest is just fiction, aimed at tarnishing our image when all we asked for was privacy.”
Suraj was particularly upset about rumors dragging innocent friends into their situation. “I want to make this clear: there is no truth to any claims about us or other people. Involving friends who have nothing to do with this is unfair. Both Mouni and I have behaved with dignity during this period, and we hope that same dignity is shown in the media coverage.”
He criticized irresponsible journalism, pointing out that many reports have spread false narratives without proper verification. Urging respect for their earlier statement, he concluded, “We appreciate everyone respecting our wishes as we move forward in peace. Thank you.”
Mouni and Suraj tied the knot in January 2022 in a beautiful ceremony in Goa, which celebrated both Malayali and Bengali traditions. The couple often shared snippets of their lives together, becoming one of the most talked-about pairs in the celebrity world.
Just three days ago, they made their separation public through a joint note on Instagram, asking for understanding and privacy during this personal transition.
