New VFS Global Centre to Open in Melbourne for Indian Community

The Indian Consul General in Melbourne, Anish Rajan, recently announced an upcoming larger VFS Global centre aimed at enhancing consular services for the Indian community in Victoria. This new centre, set to open soon on St Kilda Road, will provide a variety of essential services, including visa and passport applications, OCI status, Police Clearance Certificates, and other visa-related needs.

The shift from the current location on Swanston Street in the CBD, along with the addition of more service counters, is expected to improve efficiency and reduce waiting times for those seeking assistance. With over 250,000 people of Indian heritage, Victoria boasts the largest Indian-born population in Australia, making this new facility a significant development for the community.

Stay tuned for more updates as the opening date approaches!
