Prime Video is enhancing its partnership with The Viral Fever (TVF), as many shows produced by TVF have become some of the most successful Indian originals on the streaming platform. Sources indicate that the rising popularity of TVF’s content is leading Prime Video to consider adding more of their YouTube offerings to its library.
TVF has struck gold with hits like “Panchayat” and “Sapne vs Everyone Season 2,” which have captured large audiences on Prime Video. The insider revealed that these successes make it a great opportunity for the streaming giant to attract even more viewers by tapping into TVF’s existing fanbase on YouTube.
“Panchayat,” a rural comedy that features Jitendra Kumar, has garnered a loyal following and remains one of the platform’s top series. Following the warm reception of its third season released in May 2024, the show has already been renewed for a fourth season.
Another standout in this collaboration is “Aspirants,” which started as a YouTube series and transitioned to Prime Video for its second season. Focused on the lives of UPSC exam hopefuls and their friendships, it quickly gained popularity among younger audiences and students preparing for competitive exams, leading to its third season renewal.
Experts believe that shifting more TVF content to streaming services can help reach viewers who are already engaged with the company’s online shows. This move could also allow TVF to broaden its audience and solidify its presence in the premium streaming market.
