Balaji Studios, the digital branch of Balaji Telefilms, is gearing up to launch an exciting new series on YouTube called “Ishk Dum Aur Idli Rasam.” The show is set to premiere on May 11 at 6 PM on the Balaji Telefilms YouTube channel. Today, a trailer was released, drawing attention for its intriguing focus on romance, food, and emotional twists.
“Ishk Dum Aur Idli Rasam” unfolds in a traditional South Indian restaurant that finds itself in a tough situation. The story centers around Meera Nair, portrayed by Shiny Doshi, who is an emotional chef. For Meera, cooking is not just about serving food; it’s about honoring her late father’s legacy and values.
The narrative heats up when Arjun Thakur, a character played by Abhishek Kumar, steps into her world. Arjun is a renowned chef-investor with a modern vision for cooking. His arrival brings the promise of reviving the restaurant but also poses a risk to everything Meera cherishes. As their opposing views clash, a complex love story begins to unfold, marked by both rivalry and deep emotional ties. The cast also includes other talented actors such as Nehalaxmi Iyer, Aman Singh, and Prerna Sehjpal.
