Director Nitesh Tiwari’s eagerly awaited film Ramayana might have a grand international premiere in Dubai, as recent discussions resume about hosting the event there. Initially, the idea faced a pause, but according to a report by Mid-Day, plans are now back on track.
The premiere is tentatively scheduled for October 28 and is being informally referred to as the “Desert Premiere.”
Premiere Plans Come Back to Life
Initially, Tiwari and producer Namit Malhotra had eyed Dubai as the premiere location, but earlier this year, they put the plans on hold because of the ongoing conflict in West Asia. Now, with conditions improving, the team is revisiting the possibility of holding the premiere in the UAE.
Location Scouting in Progress
As per reports, preliminary work is already in motion, with scouts checking out different venues across Dubai. A source mentioned, “In April, we paused the idea because it didn’t feel right. Now, with the situation calming, we are hopeful about bringing Ramayana to Dubai. The city is our first choice due to its capacity for large events and the vibrant Indian community there.”
If everything goes according to plan, the film’s lead cast, including Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, and Yash, are expected to attend the premiere.
Ramayana stands as one of the largest film productions in India at the moment, featuring Kapoor as Lord Ram, Pallavi as Sita, and Yash as Ravana. While the official confirmation for the Dubai premiere is still pending, excitement for the film continues to build as its release date approaches.
