Man Denies Threatening Former Prince Andrew in Court Plea

Man Pleads Not Guilty to Threatening Former Prince Andrew

A 39-year-old man, Alex Jenkinson, has pleaded not guilty to charges of threatening former Prince Andrew near his new residence on the Sandringham estate. This plea came during a court appearance on Friday.

Jenkinson stands accused of using threatening and abusive language towards Andrew, who was stripped of his royal titles by King Charles III last year due to his association with Jeffrey Epstein. The defendant faces two charges: one for threatening Andrew on Wednesday and another man the day before.

Former Duke of York Andrew is anticipated to provide testimony in the trial, slated for July 29 at Westminster Magistrates’ Court.

According to reports, Andrew was confronted by a masked individual while walking his dogs near his home. The police intervened and arrested Jenkinson, citing a public order offense along with possession of an offensive weapon. This incident occurred just three months after Andrew was arrested himself over allegations linked to misconduct while serving as the U.K. trade envoy, also connected to his Epstein ties.

Earlier this year, Andrew relocated to Sandringham after being asked to leave his former home at the Royal Lodge in Windsor. He is now staying at Marsh Farm, part of the Sandringham Estate.

Virginia Giuffre, who was Andrew’s main accuser, claimed she was forced to have sexual encounters with him starting at the age of 17. Although Andrew has consistently denied these allegations, he settled with Giuffre in 2022 regarding her civil sexual assault lawsuit. Tragically, she passed away by suicide in 2025.

During his court appearance, Jenkinson appeared virtually from King’s Lynn Police Investigation Centre, sporting an arm in a sling. He also pleaded guilty to not providing a blood sample while in custody.

Following his release on bail, Jenkinson is prohibited from entering Norfolk, making any contact with Andrew, and must maintain a distance of 500 meters from Sandringham and several other royal residences.

The situation continues to unfold with significant implications for those involved.
