YouTuber IShowSpeed is currently enjoying his time in Trinidad and was recently spotted on a cricket field in a video that quickly went viral. In the clip, he gave a shoutout to Indian cricketer Virat Kohli while playfully poking fun at Pakistani player Babar Azam.
The video shows Speed watching his friend take a shot, which didn’t go well, leading him to joke, “Bro, what was that? That’s some Babar Azam stuff, bro.” He then stepped up to bat himself and hit a boundary, celebrating enthusiastically as he shouted, “Virat Kohli, baby! Shoutout to my homie Virat Kohli!”
IShowSpeed has always been an admirer of Kohli. During the 2023 World Cup, he traveled to India, attended the much-anticipated India vs. Pakistan match, and even met Jay Shah. While he wished to meet Virat Kohli, it didn’t happen, but he remains a vocal supporter of the cricketer.
The YouTuber also expressed his sadness over Kohli’s retirement from Test cricket in 2025, saying, “This is sad. All the legends are retiring. Why would he retire at 36 after just winning the ICC? It has to be fake!”
Meanwhile, Kohli continues to impress in the IPL 2026 season, accumulating 328 runs in seven matches. His performance has included an impressive strike rate of 163.18 and an average of 54.67.
This ongoing excitement in cricket shows how players and fans can connect, creating memorable moments both on and off the field.
