Actor Sumeet Vyas recently shared his frustrations on social media regarding his Sony Bravia LED TV, which has faced several issues just five months after purchase.
In a tweet addressing Sony Electronics and Croma Retail, where he bought the TV, Vyas expressed his disappointment. He mentioned that despite his high hopes for the expensive television, it required repairs four times already. He stated, “Dear @SonyElectronics, I bought a Sony Bravia LED TV 5 months ago, and we’ve already repaired it four times. I chose @cromaretail because it’s a premium product, and I wanted a reliable point of contact for any issues. This has been a tiring experience.”
Vyas didn’t stop there; he reached out to the consumer rights initiative, Jago Grahak Jago, asking for their help with the ongoing problem. He stated that he had been patient but felt his trust had been betrayed. “Please @jagograhakjago look into the matter. I patiently waited as long as I could. But this is an absolute breach of trust. They can take this TV back and send one that works. That’s all. Thank you,” he added.
It remains to be seen how Sony Electronics and Croma Retail will address Vyas’s concerns.
