Dharma Productions Delays Release of “Chand Mera Dil” Title Track in Tribute to Asha Bhosle
Dharma Productions has decided to postpone the release of the title track for “Chand Mera Dil” by one day, honoring the memory of the iconic playback singer Asha Bhosle, who recently passed away. The song, starring Ananya Panday and Lakshya, was initially set to debut on April 13.
This change in schedule coincides with Asha Bhosle’s last rites, which are planned for the same day. In a statement, the production team explained the reason for the delay, expressing their deep respect for the legendary artist.
The statement said, “To honor a legacy that has influenced many generations, we are moving the launch of the ‘Chand Mera Dil’ title track by a day. This decision comes as a heartfelt acknowledgment of Asha Bhosle, whose impact on music remains timeless.”
Asha Bhosle, aged 92, passed away after being admitted to Breach Candy Hospital due to cardiac and respiratory issues. She had been unwell for several months and was critically hospitalized before being moved to the Intensive Care Unit. Her family announced that her last rites would occur the following day in Mumbai.
