Continuing its dedication to showcasing unforgettable cultural experiences, PVR INOX Limited, the top multiplex chain in India, has announced it will exclusively screen the BTS World Tour “Arirang.” This cinematic event will include live broadcasts and special replays of the global superstars’ performances from Goyang on April 11 and Tokyo on April 18, 2026.
The “Arirang” release comes after a string of sold-out K-pop screenings at PVR INOX, such as “Yet to Come in Cinemas” and “Burn the Stage.” The multiplex chain has shown consistent strong demand, often leading to more shows being added across various cities. By securing this tour, PVR INOX reinforces its status as the go-to place for experiential entertainment and youth culture in India.
Fans in over 20 cities, including Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Gurugram, Pune, Ahmedabad, and Guwahati, will be able to catch the screenings, catering to the enthusiastic Indian BTS ARMY.
Aamer Bijli, Lead Specialist in Innovation, Film Marketing, and Digital Programming at PVR INOX Limited, remarked, “We are always seeking new ways to enhance the cinema experience. BTS is not just a musical group; they are a global sensation that deeply connects with Gen Z and millennial viewers. By screening the ‘Arirang’ tour, we offer a shared space for fans to enjoy their favorite idols, supported by top-notch sound and visual technology that theaters provide. We are also noticing a significant move toward experiential cinema, where audiences want immersive, shared moments beyond regular films.”
PVR INOX has recognized a notable change in audience behavior regarding concert films. Past BTS screenings have sold out nationwide, prompting the addition of extra screens to meet fan interest. There’s also a growing trend of group bookings, with Gen Z, urban professionals, and K-pop fans seeking communal viewing experiences.
