Zareen Khan is mourning the loss of her mother, Parveen Khan, who passed away on the morning of April 8 in Mumbai. She was 65 years old and had been facing health challenges for some time. Zareen’s team confirmed the sad news.

According to an official statement, Parveen peacefully left this world to “her heavenly abode.” She is survived by her daughters, Zareen and Sana Khan. Parveen’s funeral took place the same day at Versova Muslim Kabrastan in Andheri, Mumbai.

Recently, Zareen had been updating her fans about her mother’s health on social media, asking for prayers during her hospitalization. Earlier this year, she had announced that she wouldn’t celebrate her Islamic birthday due to her mother being in the hospital at that time.

On February 23, she expressed her feelings in a heartfelt message, saying, “It’s my Islamic birthday today. Those close to me know how much I cherish this day. I had plans to celebrate, but unfortunately, I can’t because my mom is unwell.”

As of now, Zareen has not made any further public comments regarding her mother’s passing.
