New Film ‘Vvan’ Sparks Excitement with Unique Folklore Theme

The upcoming movie Vvan has piqued public interest ever since it was announced. This film, produced by Balaji Telefilms and The Viral Fever (TVF), aims to explore the seldom-touched genre of folklore thrillers in Hindi cinema. With popular stars Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah Bhatia in the lead roles, new updates from the production are only adding to the anticipation.

Insider reports suggest that the filmmakers are planning a special dance sequence inspired by folklore, which is set to be filmed in Mumbai. While there has not been any official confirmation yet, this dance is said to reflect the cultural themes of the movie rather than following the usual song-and-dance formula. This inclusion is expected to expand the film’s narrative and connect viewers more deeply with its traditional roots.

The buzz around this potential dance segment has heightened curiosity about Vvan, especially following the film’s initial teaser that left audiences eager for more insights into its atmosphere and story. If the reports hold true, this collaboration could mark a significant moment, as it would bring Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah Bhatia together on screen in a way that emphasizes mythology and storytelling.

What makes Vvan particularly noteworthy is the collaboration between two influential production houses—Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Telefilms and Arunabh Kumar’s TVF. This partnership is distinguished not just for its star cast but also for marking TVF’s debut in feature films.

Vvan, subtitled Force of the Forest, is set to be a grand folkloric thriller. It is penned by Arunabh Kumar and will be co-directed by him and Deepak Mishra. The film’s visual aesthetics will be overseen by Manu Anand as the Director of Photography. The project is produced by a team that includes Shobha Kapoor, Ektaa R Kapoor, Arunabh Kumar, and Niraj Kothari.

Scheduled for a theatrical release in 2026, Vvan is one of the most-anticipated films, with fans eagerly awaiting news on its music and overall creative direction.
