Iran Issues Strong Warnings Amid U.S. Strikes

Recently, Iranian officials have made bold statements in response to increasing tensions with the United States. Ebrahim Rezaei, a member of Iran’s Parliament and the spokesperson for the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission, warned on social media: “The late leader Khamenei taught us not to fear America. Prepare for a strong response from Iran.”

Meanwhile, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, the Speaker of Iran’s Parliament, stated, “America has yet to realize that its bullying comes with consequences. To put it simply: if you attack, you’ll be hit back. Don’t act recklessly; any actions regarding the Strait of Hormuz will be determined by Iran, not the U.S.”

These remarks followed the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) announcing additional strikes against Iranian military targets. The goal of these strikes is to limit Iran’s threats to navigation in the vital Strait of Hormuz. CENTCOM stated that these actions were necessary in light of Iran’s recent aggressive behavior toward commercial vessels.

U.S. Military Actions Intensify

In a detailed account, CENTCOM reported that its forces conducted multiple strikes, targeting around 90 Iranian military sites, including air defenses and drone storage facilities. This military response came after Iran was accused of attacking three commercial ships in the area.

Former President Donald Trump commented that, based on recent developments, the peace deal between the U.S. and Iran is “over.”

Additionally, both Kuwait and Bahrain reported facing attacks. The Kuwait Army noted interception of three ballistic missiles and ten hostile drones over its airspace. Similarly, Bahrain’s Defense Force confirmed that their systems successfully intercepted multiple Iranian aerial threats.

As tensions escalate, both sides remain vigilant, with Iran promising a strong response to any U.S. actions.
