Maulana Shahabuddin Razvi Barelvi, the National President of the All India Muslim Jamaat, expressed his disapproval, calling Bharuccha’s visit a “grave sin” according to Sharia law. He emphasized that participating in Hindu rituals contradicts Islamic beliefs, urging the actress to seek forgiveness and recite the Kalma. He believes her participation represents a violation of core Islamic principles.
