Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Panday’s Upcoming Film Generates Buzz
Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Panday are set to star in the much-anticipated romantic comedy Tu Meri Main Tera Tu Meri, which is scheduled for a Christmas 2025 release. The anticipation is palpable as a new teaser and catchy song have already excited movie fans. Reports suggest that Aaryan is earning a staggering Rs. 40 crores for his role in the film.
The film, produced by Dharma Productions, comes with a hefty budget of Rs. 150 crores, plus an additional Rs. 20 crores for marketing and promotions. It stands as one of the most expensive rom-coms produced by the studio, second only to Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar featuring Ranbir Kapoor.
According to sources, Karan Johar, the head of Dharma Productions, is placing significant trust in Aaryan’s box office appeal, especially given the success of the Bhool Bhulaiyaa franchise. It has been reported that out of the total Rs. 170 crores investment, Rs. 90 crores have already been recovered through the sale of satellite, digital, and music rights. This leaves Rs. 80 crores to recuperate from the film’s theatrical release.
The team hopes that Tu Meri Main Tera Tu Meri will break the Rs. 200 crore mark at the box office, contributing to their profits. There’s a strong sense of confidence in Aaryan’s ability to deliver another big hit for Dharma Productions, possibly even surpassing Akshay Kumar’s Good Newwz in terms of box office success.
